Wooden personalized wedding goblets by Maryland Artist Tom Crowl.

Personalized Wooden Wedding Goblets
With Unity Rings

Personalized Wooden Wedding Goblets require approximately 8 weeks turn around time
as they are handcrafted especially for your special day.

The Story of the Unity Ring:

During the 18th century, a young man who was apprenticed to a woodworker, would lovingly hand turn a wooded goblet for his intended.  A ring was cut from the solid block of wood, forever capturing the ring on the stem of the goblet.  It was a sign of the woodworker's skill and meant to symbolize the unending circle of love between them.  If the young man was serious about the young lady, the goblet would be turned from well seasoned wood.  Should he not be so serious, the goblet would be turned from fresh wood.  As the wood dried, the ring and goblet would both split - as did the young man and young woman.

We hand craft all of our wooden goblets from kiln dried wood - they are meant to last forever!

These cherry goblets feature the Unity Ring and are hand carved with inter-locking rings, names and date.  Two goblets were done for this wedding, alternating the bride and groom's names for his and her matching goblets.  These make wonderful wedding or shower gifts as well as sentimental anniversary gifts.
