Hand Carved Wine Barrel Heads - Wine Art Gallery.

Carousel Winery - Elysburg, PA.

This wine barrel head carving was commissioned as a gift for an amateur wine maker.  Since the "winery" had no name, the client decided to name it for him, calling it Carousel Winery to tie in with other interests of the wine maker and his family.  Tom created the "winery" logo and carved the piece during December 2004.  The barrel head was delivered the week of Christmas so the client could present the gift.  This Barrel head was from a barrel used by Elk Run Vineyards in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
