Half Barrel Carvings - A Tribute to Earle Brown

These half oak barrel carvings hang on much larger redwood casks in the Sebastiani Winery's Barrel room.  Since the design called for hoops to be removed, these carvings would have been solely decorative.  

The barrel room is  usually open to the public unless the room has been reserved for a private event.   I highly recommend you visit when in Sonoma!
